I need to take a break from Quora. I still like writing here, and I definitely enjoy the conversations in comments about different topics. However, there is a lot of negativity among the community, and lately, it has been upsetting me. I don’t want to come to a website on my own time, and get upset. I’ve learned a long time ago that I cannot control the actions and thoughts of other folks, but I can influence my own. So I’ll be back when I feel ready to deal with certain things or I can learn to avoid them. Quora has always felt like a safe place for me, and I want to keep it that way so that I enjoy my time here. Take care, everyone!
